Boy Scout Troop 441

Troop 441 is a Boy Scout Troop in the Lake Travis area, outside of Central Texas.  We are the original troop for this area, and have a very strong and vibrant program.  We are chartered by the Lake Travis United Methodist Church.  We also have Venture Crew 441 focused on high adventure.

The mission statement for our troop is to be the most fun Boy Scout troop that we can create.  While having fun we strive to provide leadership and advancement opportunities for every boy.  Our goal is that every scout in our troop has the opportunity to become and Eagle.  Our results are impressive, with numerous scouts achieving Eagle rank each year.

We are boy-led, and boy-focused. We do many service activities for our charter organization and community.  We are highly visible in our schools and community, and proud to be Boy Scouts.  Our adult leaders are extremely well trained and participate at the district and council level extensively.

As Scouting's founder Lord Baden-Powell said, "Scouting is a game for boys, under the leadership of boys, in which elder brothers can give their younger brothers healthy environment and encourage them to healthy activities such as will help them to develop citizenship".
